Never Say Never Film Was Really Great

Paramount distributed a Justin Bieber documentary movie named, “Never Say Never” into theaters a couple of days ago. I checked it out, and thought it was very insightful as it presented a more in-depth,”behind the scenes,” look at the star’s rise to fame, and how he retains his continuing success.

It features, of course,Justin Bieber, but it also presented appearances from Miley Cyrus, his mentor Usher,Jayden Smith,Boys II Men,Sean Kingston, and rapper Ludacris. The flick centered around, and presented scenes from Justin’s past, together with video clips of his concert shows. It also showed exactly how much work this young 16 year old has put into his career over a very short period of time.

I especially liked when they presented scenes of him performing at talent shows before he became popular. It showed the wide assortment of songs and genres that he can in fact sing. It also presented video clips of him going back to his hometown after he got well-known,and still hung out with his same exact friends like every normal teenager.

The movie was especially interesting when it showed how he was noticed on Youtube. Justin and his mother would put movie clips of him singing up on Youtube, and they would get a great amount of hits. His present-day manager Scooter Braun located him on there, and got him talking to a lot of people in the music industry. Next thing you know,he was singing for Usher.

The film also showed how Justin got unapproved by numerous labels before he was finally able to get signed. It wasn’t until he sung for Usher and convinced him, that things started to look up. After that, Usher introduced him to LA Reid and he pleased him.

After that, it showed video clips of how Justin had to hold on for a while before he could start cutting his first cd. When he finally made singles for the cd, he would go around to each and every radio station in the nation to sing for them. He impressed them, and as soon as his level of popularity started to rise from all the promotion, they began to play his songs often.

It presented footage of all the events he performs night after night, which eventually totaled hundreds of concerts. He eventually had to take a break and cancel a number of concerts because he wore out his voice. It showed him performing various live shows with Boys II Men,Miley Cyrus,Ludacris,Sean Kingsten, and Jayden Smith.

I like how the flick capped off with Justin selling out his “Madison Square Garden” live performance in 22 minutes. It showed his big performance, and little Jayden Smith joined in with a rap. Then Justin ended it,performing his hit song titled, “Baby.”

I liked the documentary. It delivered what I thought it would, which was a fantastic,in-depth look at Justin before he became famous, and a ton of “behind the scenes” footage clips of his concert and private life. Those kinds of documentaries are all often fairly interesting for me,particularly when it’s a huge celebrity.

It sort of reminded me of the “E! True Hollywood Story” shows, accept Justin’s probably one of the youngest stars. I gave the movie an A score.
